AlphaPlace is a Minecraft Alpha server in 2025 dedicated to our players nostalgia. The Alpha server was started on April, 7th, 2019. We have been using our current world for 1,766 days (As of 2/21/2024) and our player record is 182. The server is joinable from Alpha v1.2.6 using the mpmod on our website. A tutorial on how to install it can be found there. If you don't want to play with a mod or cannot install a mod then you can join with vanilla Beta 1.0.2 - Beta 1.1\_02. Those versions are identical to Alpha 1.2.6 in gameplay and looks, they just fix multiplayer from A1.2.6. The multiplayer mod for A1.2.6 is needed as multiplayer is very broken in Alpha and has a lot of exploits. The mpmod doesn't only fix the security of multiplayer, it also makes it more complete than B1.1\_02 multiplayer as well! It fixes paintings, various sounds, nether portals, the nether and other dimensions in general, and many more!
